ラオス旅行と世界遺産ルアンパバン

ルアンプラバンはラオスの古都です。この魅力ある町は歴史的、宗教的、そして、芸術的で文化的な都として人気があります。ラオスの最もすてきで最も良く保存された都です。それは、6－７世紀にはじまり12～14世紀迄首都の都でした。ルアンプラバンは1995年にユネスコによって世界遺産として認識されました、メコン川とカーン川の間に横たわり小さくてユニークな町で文化的・伝統的な都です。通りの両側にはお洒落なお店も多くなり観光客はそのひと時を散策やお買物で過ごしたり古い市場で掘り出し物を探したり楽しみます。
仏教の国といわれるラオスの中でも非常に寺院の数が多いです。日本軍が献上したものや世界各国がランサーン王政に献上した貴重な贈物等が展示されている王宮美術館、入口の両側に高いヤシの木が立ち並びます。自由行動では町の至るところで客待ちしているトクトク（原付小型タクシー）が観光には便利です。ルアンプラバンはまた「東南アジアの宝石」とも呼ばれています。古代の宮殿があるこの歴史的な宝物(寺、およびチャーミングなフランスのコロニアル・スタイル構造)が多いです。ルアンプラバンは14世紀に王の宗教として仏教を宣言したFa Ngum王の治世で栄えました。彼がクメールの女王「Keo Kenya」と結婚したとき、クメール王は素晴らしい仏像"Prabang"をFa Ngum王に贈呈しました。そして、Prabangは都市のシンボルになりました。１６世紀迄ランサーン王朝の首都として栄えその後ビエンチャンに遷都しました。現在、ルアンプラバンはすばらしい全盛期の歴史と文化を今に伝えています。PI Mai Lao(Lao New Year)の時期はホテル手配が難しいですのでご注意下さいませ。
